You can drive and park quite close to the Worthington Glacier. It is then just a short walk to its base. To the left of the glacier camouflaged by the moraine, is a small dark patch which is an ice cave. This lower part of the glacier itself has many large cracks in it and you can see the blue ice in these cracks.
