Mt Mee State Forest, Qld

Neurum Creek runs around the campground, about 25m - 50m from campsites. Usually it averages only 30cm deep. In fact, the bushwalk from the campground relies on you rock-hopping across the creek where the walk continues on the other side. As you can see here though the creek was running very high and from the plants you can tell it was even higher during the night. It dropped pretty quickly once the rain stopped and was never a threat to the campsites as they were considerably higher up the bank.
