UK and Europe Roadtrip - Ghent

This is St Michaels Church taken from the beautiful Michaels Bridge. It is unusual in that it does not have a tall tower and steeple. The planned 134m high steeple never eventuated and it is only 24m high. In fact it wasn't until 1828 that the unfinished tower finally got its roof enclosed.
