Boondooma Dam, Lake and Campgrounds, Queensland

We took the walk out across the dam wall and onto the water intake tower. You can see from the brown discolouration the level that the water used to sit at. This water is pumped to Tarong Power Station (97km away). It is also released downstream to provide a regulated supply for irrigation along the Boyne River.
