Newcastle Waters

After Devils Marbles we headed north again and filled up with petrol at Tennant Creek again. We took a detour to Newcastle Waters - a historic town with lots of National Heritage listed buildings which are interesting to explore. The causeway to access the town was flooded with many white herons in residence who weren't impressed that they had to move as we crossed.
