France - Hauteford to Chauvigny

St Martial's church was rebuilt in the 1800s in the neo-gothic style. It was built upon the old mediaeval priory which dates from the 1100s. It has a dusty but ornately carved wooden pulpit. Peter is standing beside his namesake, a statue of St Peter.
