UK and Europe Roadtrip - Heidelberg

Less than an hour later we drove into Heidelberg, a town founded on the Neckar River in southwestern Germany at the end of the 12th century. We passed gothic church towers, a market square in the 'Old Town' and the lovely Heidelberg University. St Peters Church started out as a romanesque church in a small village in 1196 but this more substantial version was originally built in the 1400s. Select the photo below to see more.
