Mitchell Plateau (Ngauwudu) National Park

The track markers become a lot more difficult to spot as you reach the rockier areas along the Mitchell River near the top of the falls. If you get off the track you have to deal with the sharp needles of the spinafex so it is better to search for the elusive track markers. The white water you see up the river towards the centre of the photo is where we cross (see next photo).
