UK and Europe Roadtrip - Wiltz

We stopped to look at the WWII monuments and climb the Strike Tower. The Battle of the Bulge was the last major German offensive of the war. This attack at the Ardennes was planned to be short and sharp, split the US and British forces, and allow Hitler's army to make its way to Antwerp and take the port. The battle raged for 6 weeks before finally the allies pushed the Germans back.
