UK and Europe Roadtrip: Esch-sur-Sûre

We continued our walk up the hill towards the old tower and had a great view of Esch-sur-Sûre. You might see our motorhome parked on the other side of the River Sûre. The oldest parts of the castle ruins date back to 927 and since then the castle was expanded by various Counts (or Lords) of Esch-sur-Sûre. Select the photo below to see more of the castle ruins.
