UK and Europe Roadtrip - Luxembourg

As we entered the town of Schoenfels, we saw an interesting chateau called Schoenfels Castle. It dates back to the 1100s and is one of the castles in what they call the 'Valley of the Seven Castles'. The 21m high keep is the biggest in the region. The French Army removed its fortifications in 1683 following 'The War of the Reunions' when Spain gave Luxembourg to France. I loved the colourful houses as we drove through this small town.
