UK and Europe Roadtrip - Luxembourg

The Chateau of Walferdange was built in the early 1800s. Once intended as a stud farm for the King and Grand Duke William I, the Belgian Revolution put a stop to that. In 1850 Prince Henry, Lieutenant-Representative of Luxembourg, moved here until his death in 1879. Once an annex to the University of Luxembourg, Walferdange CastleĀ is now home to a Montessori School. Select the photo below to see more.
