Murray River to Second Valley, SA

We skirted around Lake Alexandrina then across the Mount Lofty Ranges to the west coast of the Fleurieu Peninsula. We crossed the Heyson Walking Trail again as it passed through forests and farmlands - very picturesque scenery. We stopped here at Rapid Bay which seems to be deserted in winter. The campground is great, right on the beach. We went for a walk and came to this large cave at the end of the rocky beach. Leafy Sea Dragons live underneath the jetty at Rapid Bay but we weren't going in the water to see!
