Rotorua to Auckland, New Zealand

We were passing through Rotorua to continue north east again thinking we were done with all that thermal activity when we noticed some more unusual golf hazards on the course. There were a number of fenced off areas with dead-looking grass (doesn't like the sulphur?) and if you looked carefully you could see the steam rising. I wouldn't be going in there to retrieve any golf balls! Select the photo below to see more.
