Dunedin to Catlins to Bluff

Next morning was still overcast as we passed through the small Otago town of Milton which has a number of significant historic buildings. The Old Sod Cottage below, built in the 1860s, was a waypoint for miners on their way to the Tuapeka goldfields. We were impressed that you could just stop and visit this unmanned site - very trusting of them. Select the photo below to see inside.
