Dunedin to Catlins to Bluff

We continued along the Southern Scenic Route and stopped next at Jack's Bay. It was still overcast windy and drizzling rain at times. Probably not the best days for views but it was spectacular even so. This area was named after the Maori chief Tuhawaiki who was known to European settlers as Bloody Jack. Access to Jack's Blowhole is across private property with a number of stiles along the track to allow you to cross from one paddock to the next. The Cliffs didn't bother the sheep at all, in fact they seemed to like sitting as close to the edge as possible!!!! Select the photo below to see those sheep in the photo up closer.
