Invercargill to Fiordland to Milford, New Zealand Trip

Our next stop was Lake Te Anau. Its name was originally Te Ana-au, Maori for 'The cave of swirling water'. It is apparently known as the "Sightseeing Walking Capital of the World" because it is located close to the main southern walking tracks, including the Milford, Hollyford, Routburn and Kepler Tracks. One day we would like to do one of those walks but this trip we didn't have the extra time. This was our campsite on the lake shore - you couldn't ask for a more beautiful outlook.
