Haast to Greymouth, New Zealand

Next morning was still overcast and light rain came and went. We tried to book a helicopter trip onto the glaciers but all tours were cancelled due to the changing weather and unpredictable winds up on the glaciers. They were not expecting it to clear and allow flights for at least 3 days which was too long for us to wait. Next time! We set off on the Fox Glacier walk. You can imagine the sheer force of the glaciers as they carved their way through these rocks leaving the vertical cliffs and morraine behind.
