Farewell Spit to Foxton Beach, New Zealand

A 5 minute walk up to the top of Cape Farewell from the car park resulted in these magnificent views of the towering vertical cliffs and the crashing waves of the Tasman Sea. Keep hold of your kids if you bring them here as there is only a short section of fencing. If you have a couple of hours for the Clifftop Walk, a track skirts along the cliff edges from here all the way up to Farewell Spit. We didn't have the time but I think it would be a great walk for next visit.
