Farewell Spit to Foxton Beach, New Zealand

Near Havelock, we turned left into Queen Charlotte Drive to follow the sounds around to Picton. We stopped at Cullen Point and climbed 10 minutes up to the lookout. From here we looked north into Mahau Sound, with views of Kaituna and Pelorus estuaries.  Select the photo below to see more the view to the south and how Havelock manages to keep enough water in their harbour at low tide for the boats that are moored there.
