Russia Part 1

St Petersburg was founded by Tsar Peter the Great in 1703 following a long war with Sweden who ruled what is now Finland as well. Leningrad/St Petersburg became capital of the Russian Empire for over 200 years until after the Russian Revolution in 1917. Some of these buildings have been around since that time.
