Shark Bay, Peron Peninsula

We spent the day driving through Francois Peron National Park which takes up 52000 hectares of the north end of Peron Peninsula - basically everything north from Denham and Monkey Mia. Along the way we crossed a number of 'Birridas' which we found unusual as they were covered in small stunted plants that looked a little like bonzai trees. They are gypsum claypans that were once landlocked saline lakes. This is the northern tip - Cape Peron.
