UK and Europe Roadtrip - Bratislava, Slovakia

We went for a look inside St Elizabeth Church which was built in the 1700s. Very impressive! There are frescoes covering the surface of the vaults and paintings on the walls, ceilings and surrounding all three altars. The Elizabethan monastery and church were badly damaged during WWII , when it was bombed by the USSR Air Force, but the complex has been restored beautifully. Select the photo below to see more.
