Tasmania Roadtrip - Week 11 - Genoa

We set up camp at the small town of Genoa (free camp). It is the last town before we enter NSW and a good point of access to Malacoota and Croajingolong National Park. We saw Tetrapod footprints here, set in concrete, that were made from a cast of those prints discovered in 1971 in Genoa River Gorge. Tetrapods were the first animals to evolve on the land from water. They looked a lot like very large salamanders.
