UK and Europe Roadtrip - Corlu

Many places are being torn down and rebuilt in Corlu. On the hill overlooking the city are the ruins of Corlu Castle. These ruins date back to the Byzantine Empire, around the 6th century. In 1360 the castle was taken by the Ottoman Sultan Murad I but it changed hands a number of times after that. Select the photo below to see more.
