Roadtrip UK - Greyfriars Priory

Just down the road were the ruins of Greyfriars Priory, established by Franciscan monks, who first came to Dunwich in the 1250s. The demolition of its buildings began on orders of Henry VIII during the Dissolution of Monasteries. The sea may well eventually take the rest.
