Roadtrip UK and Europe - Cambridge

The Corpus Clock (right) sits outside of the Taylor Library at Corpus Christi College, Cambridge. It was installed in 2008 in the presence of Stephen Hawking. The clockface is plated in pure gold and the radiating ripples represent the 'Big Bang' that formed the universe. Three rings of LEDs show the hour, minute and second but it is exact only every 5th minute! St Botolphs (left) is dedicated to a seventh-century abbot in East Anglia who is a patron saint of travellers.
