UK and Europe Roadtrip - Battle

Battle is a small town in East Sussex best known for being the site of the Battle of Hastings. The town of Hastings is 10km south of Battle. William of Normandy, France, defeated King Harold of England here becoming King of England. This circular area I am sitting beside is the site of an ancient bull ring and bonfires.
