UK and Europe Roadtrip - Arundel Castle

The forward defensive building in front of the main castle walls is called the Barbican and was built around 1370. It formed part of one the gatehouses that protected Arundel Castle grounds. There was a drawbridge and a dry moat to help defend the castle. Select the photo below to see more of this.
