UK and Europe Roadtrip - Rhens

We walked through the Church Gate, built around 1400. The tower that once adjoined it was blown up in 1689 by French troops. Down this cobbled lane is Rhen's historic market square with a beautiful red timbered Town Hall and a bronze statue of a boy and his cow at an old cattle trough.
