Holiday Photo Album UK and Europe Roadtrip - Germany

Album 95 - It is around 50km from Luxembourg City east to Trier, across the Moselle (Mosel) River which forms a natural boundary with Germany. We passed steep hills and vineyards famous for Luxembourg wines such as Riesling and Pinot Gris then into Germany's Moselle Wine Region. Highlights of this section of the trip were the archaeologically important town of Trier along with all of the towns we visited as we drove along the Mosel Tourist Drive and Rhine Scenic Route. This is a very beautiful and interesting part of Germany. If you like castles they are everywhere along the Rhine River! Missed the last Album? See Album 94 which covers our trip through Luxembourg. You can also use the UK and Europe map to select another album or see the Route Map for Germany.
