Middle Lagoon, Dampier Peninsula

It is only another half hour north of Beagle Bay to the Middle Lagoon turnoff. We'd had enough of the track corrugations by then so were very glad to stop here for a couple of days. Our spotlight had bounced itself right off the front of the car by the time we arrived! We tightened the remaining spotlight so we wouldn't lose it. We had packed everything in the van very carefully so no problems there and we covered the vents so minimal dust got in. We had a great campsite overlooking the lagoon. We dragged our canoe down the track over the sanddune in front of our camp and left it there - easy access to the water.
