Queenstown to Haast Pass, New Zealand

The walk winds through a native silver beech forest with bellbird and tui calls echoing through the trees. You pass a series of crystal clear deep pools that have been carved out of the rocks by centuries of erosion. This glacier-fed water is the colour of deep azure blue.
