Haast to Greymouth, New Zealand

Next stop was Greymouth and this photo from the lookout gives you an idea of the size of the town. It is the largest town in the West Coast region with about 14000 residents. The famous TranzAlpine train that crosses New Zealand at Arthurs Pass terminates at Greymouth. There were not many free internet cafes on the West Coast of the South Island so we took advantage of McDonalds for coffee. After stocking up on groceries and diesel we set off again.
