Tasmania Roadtrip - Pine Lake

In the last 2 million years, glaciers scoured the landscape to the west of the highway creating thousands of lakes and tarns on this Central Plateau. Many of the large boulder fields and scree slopes started to form during those times and are the result of eroded dolerite boulders toppling down the mountains.
