England - Derbyshire to Yorkshire Dales |
Album 85 - It was very green as we travelled through the Peak District in Derbyshire to the Yorkshire Dales. We visited a lot of National Trust sites during this part of our trip. Highlights were the walk through Winnats Pass, Lyme Park House and Gardens, Bolton Abbey & Bardon Tower as well as seeing the ancient Roman and Viking artifacts found around Burnsall. Unlike Australia's National Parks, around 25000 people live in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Missed the last Album? See Album 84 which covers West Yorkshire to the Peak District.
