Tanna Island, Vanuatu

We travelled up and over the range from the west to east side of the island. At the highest elevation where the road was steepest we travelled the only section of road on the island that was sealed (cement). The Americans did it around the time of World War 11 for their vehicles. [It is time they came back and fixed it up!!!] We could see smoke belching out of Mt Yasur in the distance.
