UK and Europe Roadtrip - Battle

Inside Battle's parish church, St Marys, there are a number of medieval frescoes painted on the walls above the nave that tell stories of characters from the bible, saints and devils. The font, dated 1100s, is on the right as you enter decorated with red and gold. The exposed roof timbers were part of the renovations done in Victorian times.
