Holiday Photo Album Germany - Dresden to Berlin

Album 78 - We crossed the Czech/German border near Bad Gottleuba and continued onto Dresden. As with many European towns and cities there is a mix of old and new. Much of the change was brought about by World War 2. Dresden is an important hub of German Arts where you can experience the culture and interesting architecture of the area. Visiting the German capital, Berlin, was also a highlight of this section of the trip. There are many museums, memorials to victims of the holocaust and of course the Brandenburg Gate, to see. Missed the last Album? See Album 77 which covers our trip through the Czech Republic. You can also use the UK and Europe map to select another album or see the Route Map for Germany.
