Germany - Magdeburg to Minden

Album 79 - We left Berlin driving through "Checkpoint Bravo', south-west towards Magdeburg, and camped on the River Elbe. The city was very important in medieval times so there is a lot to see here. The Gothic-style Magdeburg Cathedral, the burial place of the Holy Roman emperor Otto the Great, was a highlight of our time here. Continuing west passed Hanover, our next stop was Minden on the River Weser. It is always nice to camp by a river within walking distance of the town centre. A lovely town to explore!
