Tanna Island, Vanuatu

This is the view from the restaurant at low tide. The anchor is said to be off The Bounty from a time when Captain Bligh stopped at Tanna and took on one of the local girls. The local witch doctor put a curse on him which caused his boat to loose its anchor.
We ate all our meals here except for the packed lunches they provided when on tours. Food was good (locally grown or caught), drinks choice adequate and very friendly staff. Tip: There is no bar fridge in the room so bring red wine! :)
