England - Suffolk to Cambridge |
Album 90 - This section of the trip started at Dunwich on the Suffolk Heritage Coast. We had a morning walk along the rocky beach before investigating other places around Dunwich including the Greyfriars Priory Ruins. We visited Framlingham Castle and Church before stopping next to explore the wonderful town of Bury St Edmunds. The Abbey, Cathedral, Tower Gates and St Marys Church were the day's highlights. It was only a 30 minute drive west to Cambridge where we were delighted to be able to wander along the Cam River and through the historic buildings of the many famous colleges including St Johns, Trinity and Kings Colleges. Our stop for the night was a Britstop at West Street Vineyard in Coggeshall, Essex. Missed the last Album? See Album 89 which covers Yorkshire to the Suffolk Coast.
